Access: Barcaldine Road 5km, turn left at the "Riverview" / "Garden" sign. Follow the road along then take track down between the two houses. All vehicle access.
Comments:

Great little waterhole. Quiet, shady, off the highway. Plenty of room for keen fishers. Not too far from town. Open fires allowed as long as kept under control. No pets.

Oma Waterhole
Nearest Town: Isisford 17km
Access: South-west on Isisford-Yaraka River Road.
Comments:

Oma Waterhole is the widest part of the Barcoo River. Great fishing hole and quiet camping area. Just relax and enjoy a spot of fishing. Camping fees apply: $2 per night or $10 per week per car.

Lloyd Jones Weir
Nearest Town: Barcaldine 14km
Access: 5km south along the Blackall Road, turn right into Barcaldine Downs Road for a further 9km.

Access: Travel 4km along Landsborough Hwy toward Winton. Turn right at Longreach Waterhole and Motorcross track sign. Travel 500m and turn left to river.
