Access: Sealed road from Cunnamulla to Eulo. Eulo to Caiwarra - bulldust/gravel.
Comments:

Part of Currawinya National Park. Wood supplies to be taken from sides of main road 50km from Hungerford. No bait to be taken into Park. Yellowbelly and catfish. Bushwalking and historical ruins from pastoral industry. Wildflowers in spring.

Allan Tannock Weir
Nearest Town: Cunnamulla 5km
Access: South of town. Bitumen from Cunnamulla.
Comments:

Boat ramp. No swimming within 100m of weir. Access to both sides of river. Yellowbelly, murray cod and catfish.

Wyandra Beach
Nearest Town: Wyandra 2km
Access: Western bank of Warrego River through town of Wyandra.
Comments:

Sandy bank. Fishing at bridge. Yellowbelly, murray cod and catfish. Bushwalking.

5 Mile Waterhole
Nearest Town: Eulo 7km
Access: Eulo-Hungerford Road. Grid past 'Springvale' mail box - turn left and down fence line.
Comments:

Good camping. Road unsealed from Hungerford turn off. Yapunyah, coolibah trees along the Paroo River. Yellowbelly, catfish and yabbies. Bushwalking.

Eulo Town Hole
Nearest Town: Eulo 200km
Access: Either side of bridge crossing Paroo River western side of Eulo.
Comments:

On the Paroo River. Yapunyah and Coolibah trees. Nature walks and Heritage Trails. Yellowbelly and catfish. Walking distance from town. Part of stock route.

Wilson River
Nearest Town: Noccundra 1km
Access: 4X4 only in wet weather.
Comments:

Located within 1km of the historic Noccundra Hotel. All facilities are located at the Hotel. However, you can camp along the river - a gold coin donation taken at the Hotel for the Royal Flying Doctors.

Bulloo River (1)
Nearest Town: Thargomindah 500m
Access: Vehicle access from the bridge, follow a walking track along the river.
Comments:

The Bulloo River flows through the town of Thargomindah and there are several fishing holes along the river.

Cooper Creek (Nappamerrie Station)
Nearest Town: Innamincka 69km
Access: Via the Burke and Wills Dig Tree (Nappamerrie Station) 14km off the Innamincka Road.
Comments:

Fishing in the Bulla Bulla Waterhole, Cooper Creek, near the Dig Tree, camping, swimming, boat ramp. Yellowbelly are the most popular species.

Currawinya National Park
Nearest Town: Hungerford 25km
Access: Currawinya's southern boundry lies adjacent to the township of Hungerford on the QLD/NSW border.
Comments:

Fishing is permitted along the Paroo River at the Corni Paroo Waterhole and the Ourimperee Waterhole. Camping available. Fishing is also available in Lake Numalla (fresh). No camping at the Lake.

Comments:

Diamantina - formerly a pastoral holding - was dedicated as National Park in 1992 and conserves over 500,000 hectares of diverse Channel Country, sweeping across weathered sandstone ridges in the East to the Diamantina River flood plains, reminiscent of desert further west.

Campsites both sides of the road and both sides of the creek. It is a good fishing and swimming hole. Yellowbelly, bream and catfish can be caught.

Access: Travel 8km north of Jundah on the Carella Road. Take the Top Six Mile turn off and travel approx. 4km.

Camping and fishing are allowed on the eastern side of the river (town reserve) along the length of the river between the northern and southern fences. Rubbish bins are provided at the campsites.
